– the community inclusion program

(charitable registration number 821042249RR0001)

driven2smile is dedicated to promoting unity in the community .

Unity amonst the special needs communities because together special interest groups can coordinate resources, creativity, and advocacy for the betterment of all.

Unity for those with special needs within their own communities - to be welcomed, encourage and engaged in everyday activities.

We promote activities which encourage multiple special interest groups to work together for the advancement and education of their members – summer literacy camps, specialized day care, workshops, etc...

Working with community partners, we offer volunteer programs, high school coops, college and university internships, thereby effectively educating future generations of frontline providers.
We also encourage community programs and partners to structure activities and events for the successful inclusion of individuals with special needs.

Our largest event, UCR Family Fun Day, is sponsored by the Porsche Club of America – Upper Canada Region, Daniels Corporation, Talking Language and Communication Inc, Intensive TLC, Scholar’s Choice and Master Mind. Typically, at the end of May or beginning of June each year, over 400 individuals of all ages with medical, cognitive, physical, sensory, communication and/or social-emotional considerations are invited to the world renowned race track at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CMPT) to ride in Porsches and participate in a wide variety of off-track events.

VOLUNTEERS

Partnerships with high schools, colleges and universities provide specialized volunteers with the unparalleled opportunity to see individuals with unique, complex needs in a completely new light.
