Adrienne Hicks-Shaw, HBSc, CDA

 

Adrienne is a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA), who graduated from Durham College's second class in 2004.  Prior to that she completed an honours degree in Psychology from Trent U. 

 

In her time at TLC, Adrienne has attended The Association Method and PECS training, as well as learning Core Language strategies, Signed Exact English, and the principles of ABA.  Adrienne's years of therapy experience in office, homes, daycares, and especially on the Gus Bus, translate into rich tele-therapy services.

 

Having two children has taught Adrienne so much and made her a better therapist.  Hanging out with her children at the lake or in the backyard is her happy place.
